Barrage

This is a video game developed by Irvin Rafael and Joshua Villareal. It is a 2D tower defense game with trivia from an online database. We came up with the idea after seeing many educational games like ST Math and Kahoot. Several studies show that gamifying academic activities can increase knowledge retention. This product results from attempting to gamify studying by having multiple game features.  Barrage is a game application intended to help people by asking them questions in a game format. Barrage is a 2D tower defense game with different troops protecting against waves of enemies. After a certain amount of waves, the user answers questions about a specific subject they choose. Correctly answering the question would allow them to gain money in the game to beat the waves of enemies. The user progresses through multiple waves until they successfully defend against 15 waves of enemies. The user gets a score calculated based on how many questions they answered correctly and how many troops they defeated. 

To play the game, unzip the file and run the barrage.exe file.

The Android build has been canceled due to many issues.
